1. Who we are

2. What we collect

Information you enter in the request form: name, company, WhatsApp number, email, cargo details, pickup and delivery locations, dates and notes.

Technical information: date and time of the request, type of device (mobile or computer), the website or app that brought you here (e.g. Facebook, Google), and a one-way encrypted fingerprint of your IP address used only to block abusive submissions.

3. Why we use it

To answer your transport request, prepare a quotation and organise the job.

To contact you back if your WhatsApp message did not reach us.

To understand how many requests we receive and where they come from, so we can improve our service.

To protect the website against spam and abuse.

4. Legal basis

We process your data with your consent (given when you submit the form) and to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, as allowed by the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

5. Who can see it

Only the Port Haulage team and our technical service providers (website hosting, database and email providers) acting on our instructions. We do not sell your data.

Some providers may store data outside Ghana; we only use providers offering appropriate security safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

Requests are kept for up to 3 years after your last contact with us, then deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, at any time by contacting us (+233 24 368 0594 · contact@porthaulage.org). You may also complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

8. Security

Data is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored in a protected database with restricted access.
